Orca Lessons (10 years or older)
Advanced Swimming, Deep-Water Safety & Intro to First Aid
The Orca level is designed for advanced swimmers who are confident in deep water and ready to push their aquatic skills to the next level. In these 1-hour lessons, swimmers work on mastering endurance, refining technique, and learning important rescue and first aid fundamentals.
Swimmers develop strong proficiency in strokes like front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke while improving efficiency, speed, and stamina. Deep-water skills like surface dives, underwater swims, and prolonged treading are practiced regularly to build real-world safety and self-rescue ability.
Orca students are also introduced to preliminary first aid skills, including how to recognize emergencies, provide basic assistance, and understand the principles of helping others in and around the water. This class is recommended to those who aim to partake in Lifesaving courses or competitive swimming.
